Disney is looking to win back young boys in the marketing battle

Disney really has a lot of girls going crazy over Hannah Montana, the Jonas Brothers, Pixie Hollow. But where are young boys in their marketing. This New York Times article “Disney Expert Uses Science to Draw Boy Viewers” talks about how they hired a team of anthropologists to get inside the heads of boys between the ages of 6-12.

Can we in education learn from this?
Do we want young boys to read more?
What should they be reading?
